TUSAŞ Kahramanmaraş Aerospace Facility Marks First Year
**The TUSAŞ Kahramanmaraş Aerospace Structures Production Facility has successfully completed its first year of operations, following the devastating earthquakes that struck 11 provinces in Turkey, referred to as the disaster of the century. Established to enhance the regional economy and provide job opportunities, the facility began its operations shortly after the catastrophic events centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023. Celebrations for the milestone were attended by notable figures including former TUSAŞ Chairman Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan and TUSAŞ General Manager Dr. Mehmet Demiroğlu on February 28, 2025.**
As the first production facility set up by TUSAŞ in Anatolia, it plays a crucial role in the defense industry ecosystem of Kahramanmaraş. This facility aligns with Turkey’s technological independence movement by employing domestic technologies, fundamentally supporting the workforce in the region.
