As part of the 103rd anniversary celebrations of Victory Day, Turkey’s Air Force aerobatic team, SOLOTÜRK, performed a tribute flight over Ankara.
On August 28, SOLOTÜRK conducted a reconnaissance and rehearsal flight in preparation for the Victory Day events. The team continued its aerial displays and carried out a “tribute flight” over Anıtkabir at 18:45 on August 30.
Attending the show with his family, Mehmet Güven Suvak shared his excitement, saying, “It was very thrilling and beautiful. Truly a perfect performance. May God preserve them.”
His 8-year-old daughter, Zümra Suvak, added that she had been eagerly waiting for the display since hearing the rehearsal flights. “My father promised to take me to see it for Victory Day, and I’m so happy I finally got to watch it,” she said.
The SOLOTÜRK team’s performance marked a highlight of Ankara’s Victory Day celebrations, honoring the nation’s enduring legacy and the 103rd anniversary of the historic victory.
