Koluman Otomotiv Endüstri A.Ş., a key player in Türkiye’s defense logistics sector, is set to unveil its latest innovation—the KISRAK 4×4 Tactical Wheeled Vehicle—at the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025). Designed to meet the multifaceted operational needs of security forces, KISRAK will be exhibited for the first time alongside two other advanced systems, highlighting Koluman’s engineering capabilities and commitment to innovation.
Zafer Özcan, Deputy General Manager for Military Projects at Koluman, emphasized IDEF’s strategic importance, noting that the event serves not only as a product showcase but also as a platform for building international partnerships and advancing export opportunities.
🔹 A Multi-Role Workhorse for Modern Operations

Developed entirely with internal resources, the new-generation KISRAK 4×4 is engineered for versatile field deployment. With high mobility and durability in rough terrain, the vehicle is suitable for various mission profiles—including troop and cargo transport, reconnaissance, command and control, logistics support, and fuel delivery.
Equipped with a 330-horsepower engine, automatic transmission, and a 6.5-ton payload capacity, KISRAK offers modular configurations tailored to specific operational demands. Özcan emphasized the vehicle’s low maintenance requirements and cost-efficiency, supported by Koluman’s robust global after-sales support infrastructure.
🔹 Zırhlı AKTAN: Armored Fuel Tanker Enhancing Frontline Logistics

Koluman will also display its Armored Fuel Tanker (AKTAN)—an 8×8 system developed under a project with Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB). With 41 vehicles in total, the first 10 have already been delivered, and the remaining units are scheduled for handover by Q3 2025.
AKTAN features the DERMAN armored cab and a 12,000-liter ballistic-protected fuel tank, ensuring secure and uninterrupted fuel supply in combat zones. Powered by a 517-horsepower engine, AKTAN is optimized to enhance the logistical endurance and mobility of ground forces under high-risk conditions.
🔹 DAS: Smart Leveling for Critical Payloads
Another key innovation on display will be Koluman’s Düzleme Alt Sistemi (DAS), or Leveling Subsystem. Designed for 6×6 and 8×8 tactical platforms, DAS enables the precise stabilization of sensitive payloads such as radars, EO sensors, and air defense systems.
According to Özcan, DAS can perform dual-axis automatic leveling with high precision and minimal delay—just 2 to 3 minutes—ensuring the payload reaches optimal operational position rapidly, even on uneven terrain.
Global Ambitions and Strategic Partnerships
Özcan highlighted that rising defense expenditures and mobility demands in regions like Europe, the Middle East, and Africa are driving international interest in Koluman’s new vehicle lineup. He stated, “Our presence at IDEF 2025 aligns perfectly with our vision to expand into global markets, forge new partnerships, and deliver cutting-edge, mission-ready solutions to international clients.”
Koluman’s participation in IDEF 2025 marks a pivotal milestone, not only for showcasing its new products but also for strengthening its role as a strategic contributor to Türkiye’s defense ecosystem.
