Record-Breaking Participation and International Engagement

SSB President Haluk Görgün shared the results via his official statement, describing IDEF 2025 as a global showcase of Turkey’s engineering strength, export ambition, and strategic defense vision. According to Görgün, delegations from 103 countries attended the event, alongside 231 official state visits and nearly 1,500 exhibiting companies.

“This was not just a trade fair,” Görgün stated. “It was a reflection of our national determination for local production and our evolving strategic defense architecture on a global stage.”

Over 1,100 Products Unveiled, 270 Signing Ceremonies

The event saw the first-ever public display of more than 1,100 products, with 26 new defense technologies officially introduced for the first time. A total of 270 signing ceremonies were held over the course of the fair.

Crucially, 65% of the $9 billion in contracts were export-oriented, demonstrating Turkey’s growing role in the global defense market.

A Strategic Vision Supported by Leadership

Görgün emphasized that the accomplishments of IDEF 2025 reflect the broader vision of Turkey’s national defense strategy and its commitment to self-sufficiency. He acknowledged the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose “visionary guidance” has played a critical role in the industry’s momentum.

He also extended his gratitude to the Ministry of National Defense, the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, participating companies, international delegations, and the thousands of visitors who contributed to what he called “not just a milestone event, but a moment of national pride.”
