Cargo of Bomb-Laden Call Devices Discovered at Istanbul Airport
**In a startling revelation, Turkish intelligence uncovered a shipment containing 1,300 call devices rigged with explosives at Istanbul Airport. These devices bore a striking resemblance to those used in last year’s deadly call device attacks in Lebanon, attributed to the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad. The intercepted cargo, originally arriving from Hong Kong, was en route to Lebanon when it was detected by the MIT on September 20, two days before its scheduled delivery.**
The shipment included not only the explosive call devices but also 710 chargers. The interception occurred after a series of bombings on September 17 in which 12 individuals lost their lives and around 2,800 others were injured due to explosions in devices used by members of Hezbollah.
