At STM’s stand, attendees will find models of some of the nation’s most advanced engineering projects. This includes the fifth ship of Turkey’s first national frigate, MİLGEM, designated as TCG ISTANBUL, as well as the STM500 submarine and nationally developed UAV systems like KARGU and TOGAN. These exhibits not only highlight STM’s innovations but also exemplify Turkey’s commitment to advancing defense technologies.

The event promises to be highly engaging for younger audiences as well, with the theme “Drawing the Technology of Their Dreams”. Activities will be geared towards educating and entertaining children and teens. At the STM stand, participants can challenge themselves with the “Digital Memory Game,” where they will attempt to match STM’s warships and UAVs. Additionally, young creators will have the opportunity to sketch their dream technologies and bring these ideas to life on digital screens.

For high school and university students, the STM stand will feature a digital questionnaire to help them identify suitable engineering fields and learn about various career opportunities, including internships and candidate engineering positions within the company. This initiative aims to inspire students and guide them in their professional journeys.

Özgür Güleryüz, the General Manager of STM, expressed the importance of the event, stating, “TEKNOFEST is a valuable platform that ignites our youth’s passion for science, technology, and engineering, enabling them to demonstrate their potential through various competitions. We are thrilled to strengthen the strong ties between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through technology. As STM, we look forward to introducing our advanced high-tech products, developed using our national engineering capabilities, to our Cypriot brothers.”
