Libyan Air Force Training: Italy’s New Pilot Programs

**In a significant step towards enhancing military cooperation, the Italian Air Force has concluded a three-year training agreement with the Libyan Air Force. This landmark deal, formalized in Rome, was signed by Italian Air Force Commander Luca Goretti and Libyan Air Force Commander Mohamed Gojil. Under this program, newly trained Libyan pilots will head to Italy for comprehensive flight training, which encompasses both theoretical and practical components.**

The training will take place at notable Italian facilities, including the 70th Air Force Wing in Latina and the 61st Air Force Wing in Galatina, Lecce. The collaboration aims to provide Libyan personnel with state-of-the-art instruction, with part of the theoretical training occurring at the Aviation English Center located in Loreto, near Ancona. This agreement, the first of its kind between the two nations in the realm of flight training, underscores the commitment to security and stability in the Mediterranean region.
